Artist Statement
Warren's handcrafted stoneware pottery is inspired by Japanese and
American folk art. Each piece is unique, incorporating glazes that are
lead free and fired in a manner that makes them durable and safe.
His aesthetic considerations of form, utility and function blend to
reveal the humble and unassuming origins inherent in the beauty of
these objects. Through contemplation both visually and tactilely, his
work embodies strength and honesty in its quiet presence.
