Vincent Fink

I believe unending curiosity unlocks a better world so I create art that sparks discovery and deepens connection within ourselves and the universe. My work is focused on surrealistic world-building using paintings and drawings on canvas and panel as my media. I am constantly expanding my visual language of symbols and motifs, building on these themes to question our place in history and reality. I further develop this language by reinventing mythology. I ask questions while creating worlds that take us beyond our corporeal existence. Sacred Geometry, the harmonious patterns that interconnect all things in the multiverse, is often used as an anomalous story-telling device in much of my work. Warped perspectives, automatic drawing, dream journaling and lucid dreaming are some of the varied techniques used to develop my work and philosophy. I make art for those drawn to the mysteries beyond logic, so they can explore new ideas and discover more of who they truly are. My goal is to form a link between dreaming and waking life. So that we may dream a new world.
