About
At 20, Lola Kinsey is stepping fully into her own as an artist, blending country and classic rock with a modern disco shimmer. Based in Texas, her debut album "Saturdays" will hit stands at the end of 2026. "Saturdays" is a nod to the emergency of disco in all music genres, especially country music. Think Travolta in Saturday Night Fever meshed with Travolta in Urban Cowboy. Inspired by icons like Stevie Nicks, Cher, and Linda Ronstadt, Lola builds songs around strong melodies, big feelings, and a genre-bending spirit that feels both timeless and current. Ask her what genre she makes and she’ll still say “Linda Ronstadt” a wink to her love of fearless storytelling and emotional honesty. A lifelong performer, Lola’s roots in choir and theater shaped her love for music early on, and songwriting became her way of making sense of the world. Living with Tourette syndrome, ADHD, and OCD, she channels those experiences into lyrics that are unfiltered, deeply personal, and unapologetically real. Her momentum continues to build: three of the five tracks from her debut EP 'Come of Age' have landed radio play on KXT 91.7 and 88.1 Indie, and she appeared as an official SXSW 2025 showcase artist. With a return to SXSW in 2026, a Jambaloo 2026 appearance in Dallas, and her debut album slated for release in 2026, Lola is expanding her presence on stages across Texas and beyond as she enters her next chapter.
