Briaon Landry is a multidisciplinary visual artist, creative entrepreneur, and arts educator based in South Louisiana. As the founder and creative director of Creative Xpressions Artistry, she uses art as a vehicle for storytelling, healing, and community connection. Her work is rooted in a deep appreciation for culture, identity, and personal growth, often incorporating vibrant textures, layered materials, and expressive color palettes. She has facilitated art experiences across schools, community organizations, and public events, creating spaces where individuals, particularly youth, can explore creativity as both an outlet and a tool for self-discovery. Her commitment to mentorship and empowerment is reflected in her programming, which focuses on equipping young people with confidence, emotional awareness, and real-world skills through artistic expression. Artist Statement

My work is an exploration of identity, emotion, and transformation. I am deeply inspired by the stories we carry, both seen and unseen, and I use art as a way to bring those narratives to the surface. Texture plays a significant role in my process. I am drawn to layering materials, patterns, and color to reflect the complexity of human experience. No two pieces are ever the same, just as no two journeys are identical. Through bold color choices and intentional design, I aim to create work that feels alive, pieces that invite viewers to pause, reflect, and connect. As an artist and educator, my practice extends beyond creating for display. I believe art is a powerful tool for healing, self-expression, and community impact. Much of my work is centered around engaging others, especially youth, in the creative process, helping them find their voice and build confidence through art. Ultimately, my goal is to create work and experiences that resonate on a deeper level, art that not only tells a story but also encourages others to embrace their own.
