In 2019, Heather was the VP of Customer Success for a software company, specializing in hospitality training, when a brain tumor stopped her in her tracks. As part of physical therapy during the 5 year healing process, Heather learned how to make bracelets and necklaces to improve her motor skills. After learning about the healing properties of crystals, she incorporated them into her designs, and began sharing her knowledge… first with friends and neighbors and then with others. Once Heather started offering "free energy matching", matching people's energy to bracelets, lines started forming at every show/festival. She now travels all over Texas and Oklahoma with her one-of-a-kind necklaces and "bracelet bar" selling her handmade creations.

Artist Statement

I believe jewelry should do more than accessorize — it should align, uplift, and tell a story. Each bracelet or necklace is handcrafted with intention, using natural crystals chosen not only for their beauty but for the energy they represent. I design every piece to feel personal and meaningful — whether someone is seeking love, clarity, courage, abundance, or simply a reminder of who they are becoming. What makes my work unique is the Energy Match Experience. Before purchasing, customers can receive a complimentary energy match, where we explore what crystals will support them at the present moment. It’s interactive, intuitive, and fun — turning a simple shopping moment into something memorable and meaningful. Color, texture, and balance matter deeply in my designs. My goal is to create necklaces and bracelets that feel as good as they look — pieces you reach for daily because they carry meaning. So Bead It Designs is about connection: to yourself, to your goals, to your joy.
