Artist Statement
My work explores the intersection of emotional vulnerability, overstimulation, humor, and self-awareness through bold pop art imagery and emotionally charged visual storytelling. Using both digital and traditional media, I create pieces that transform difficult internal experiences into something visually loud, honest, and relatable.
I am deeply interested in the emotions people often feel pressured to hide — anxiety, emotional exhaustion, attachment, self-destruction, loneliness, obsession, and modern burnout. Rather than presenting these experiences in a polished or inspirational way, I approach them with sarcasm, discomfort, honesty, and humor. Bright colors and chaotic compositions are intentionally used to mirror emotional intensity while making difficult subjects feel approachable.
Through Sardonic Sloth Art, I aim to create work that allows people to feel understood without needing to explain themselves. My goal is not to provide answers or solutions, but to create connection through shared emotional experiences and the strange comfort of being seen honestly
