Aaron Zern

Aaron Zern is an artist from Houston, Texas. He studies printmaking at the Glassell School of Art. Aaron is inspired by classic children’s book illustration and nostalgic suburban imagery. His artwork starts out as color and composition studies that are developed into detailed illustrations and completed as screenprints. His fun, playful scenes create stories that are suffused with memories of childhood and filled with subtle details. Recurring anthropomorphic characters, quirky everyday objects and familiar settings are highlighted in rich color and precise line work.
