About

I am a Mexican American and a generational Texan. My art style was created by my love of skateboarding, tattoo, punk, horror and the Latino Street culture. I grew up skating, reading Thrasher magazine, admiring lowrider artwork, and studying punk rock albums all while living within the backdrop of Corpus Christi and Austin's street art. My early artwork was heavily slanted towards realism, depicting street cultures like skateboarding and graffiti. In my 20’s, I got inspired by tattoo art styles from the Americana period. I shifted my art style to reflect the graphic ideals present within tattoo designs. All these experiences shaped my artwork into what it is today. My work uses graphic style designs with bold black lines, and vibrant colors that skew towards symmetry. It typically features a central image encircled by complementary images to create a core theme. My primary art mediums are screen printing, digital art, and acrylic painting. I currently lives and creates in Round Rock, TX

Artist Statement

I'm always exploring new ways to express my interests and passions within my art. All of my screen printing is done from my home studio aka my garage and I do every aspect of the printing process except build my own aluminum screens. I create my art on paper, transfer it digital, coat my own screens, expose my own screens, clear my own screens, and hand squeegee every color of my prints.
