Originally from Seattle, Washington, but having resided in the metroplex for 16 years - Zachary started Next Destination Photography as a creative outlet to combine and motivate his passions for travel and photography. For Zachary, creative expression has been a process of discovery. His initial draw to photography came from a desire to capture the beauty of the world and document the journey of himself and others in this moment in time. The aspect of photography that he enjoys the most is the balance between the technical and the artistic. The mechanics come more naturally to him, while the artistic continues to challenge him, requiring focus, patience, and practice. This tension pushes him beyond his comfort zone, inspiring him to explore new places and new experiences. The work he presents reflects that journey - each frame a step toward artistic growth and deeper understanding.

Artist Statement

Next Destination Photography views photography as transportive - a way to escape, revisit moments, and experience different places, times, and emotions. Whether capturing a sweeping landscape, a close wildlife encounter, an intimate portrait, or a city skyline at sunset; the goal and desire of Next Destination Photography is to bring viewers into the scene, allowing them to feel as if they are there and present for that moment.
