Launched in 2016 in Nashville, Tennessee, and now based in Dallas, Texas, we specialize in curating authentic African garments and accessories that honor and preserve cultural narratives. Through vibrant textiles, traditional craftsmanship, and contemporary design, our work serves as both a form of personal expression and a powerful cultural statement. Our process is deeply rooted in authenticity, intentionality, and community. Each item in our collection is either handmade or ethically sourced directly from artisans across the African continent particularly in countries such as Ghana, Nigeria, Senegal, and Kenya. These partnerships allow us to incorporate traditional techniques like kente weaving, Ankara wax printing, and batik dyeing into modern fashion pieces. We collaborate closely with seamstresses, tailors, and craftspeople to design collections that reflect both cultural heritage and current style. Each piece is thoughtfully developed from selecting symbolic prints and vibrant color palettes to tailoring for modern fits that elevate the wearer’s confidence. The design process is a fusion of storytelling, symbolism, and artistic innovation that is fashioned with reverence for the cultures that inspire us. Our work is deeply personal. As members of the African diaspora, we carry with us both the history of our ancestors and the challenges of cultural erasure.
