Artist Statement
My work explores the beauty of the natural world, inspired by the coastal landscapes of my Florida roots and the open farmland of North Texas. Working in watercolor, I use layered washes and allow colors to flow organically, creating depth, movement, and light within each piece. I am drawn to the balance between control and unpredictability in the medium, which gives each painting its own energy. Through my art, I aim to share my love of nature and the outdoors, celebrating the environments that inspire and sustain me while inviting viewers to connect with the world around them.
