About

DSY Lifestyle is a statement hat brand founded by Latina entrepreneur Daisy Orellana. Born from one embroidery machine and a dream, it has grown into a multi-channel fashion brand known for bold, mood-driven baseball hats that represent culture, personality, and confidence. DSY Lifestyle designs effortless embroidered hats that help women express themselves without saying a word. From funny and empowering phrases to culturally inspired designs, every hat is created to spark connection, confidence, and conversation. Daisy built the brand through pop-ups, festivals, and online platforms including Shopify, Amazon, Etsy, and social media, cultivating a loyal community of “hat girlies” who love elevated casual fashion. Today, many of the hats are embroidered in a converted barn studio in Texas, where DSY Lifestyle operates as a family-run business with Daisy, her husband Orlando, and her family helping bring each design to life. At DSY Lifestyle, you don’t just wear a hat — you wear your mood

Artist Statement

My work is rooted in the idea that fashion is a form of self-expression. Through DSY Lifestyle, I design and embroider statement hats that reflect real moods, conversations, and identities. Each piece begins with a phrase, feeling, or cultural moment that resonates with women who want to express themselves without overthinking their outfit. As a Latina founder, culture, humor, and personality influence every design. I’m inspired by the everyday moments when a simple phrase can make someone laugh, feel seen, or start a conversation between strangers. DSY Lifestyle sits at the intersection of fashion and storytelling. What began with one embroidery machine has grown into a brand that celebrates confidence, individuality, and the power of wearing your mood. My goal is to create pieces that feel personal and relatable—hats that don’t just complete an outfit, but represent who you are and how you feel.
