I was born and raised in Alaska and have called Arizona my home since the end of 2016. In May of 2017 I was struck by a car traveling 48mph while crossing the street in downtown Phoenix and now live with several disabilities and chronic conditions, which inform my practice as an artist. In addition to being an artist, I am a speaker, writer, disability advocate and owner of the luxury sugar cube and tea accessory brand, Blossom & Brine. I serve on the Advisory Council for the Brain Injury Association of America and HuffPost's Voices of Disabled People Advisory Board.
