The artist began drawing in early childhood, first discovering portraiture at the age of seven after
being given a portrait art book by his mother. That was the extent of their support of his art
career. He entered college as an art major, but pressured by the world, he soon stepped into the
world of business, where he spent the next twenty-five years building and leading ventures in
accounting, finance, and real estate. Throughout this time, art laying dormant alongside a life
marked by leadership, discipline, and responsibility.
Today, the artist’s work reflects a rare synthesis of lived experience, spiritual depth, and
narrative insight. Drawing from fantasy, myth, history, and the emotional landscape of everyday
life, his paintings explore courage, wisdom, and transformation. Figures often emerge as
archetypes—the hero, the seeker, the everyman—rendered with expressive brushwork and
layered textures that invite prolonged contemplation. “I paint moments where people realize who
they are becoming,” the artist notes, allowing story and symbolism to guide each composition
rather than fixed outcomes.
The artist maintains an active home studio practice while remaining deeply engaged in business
and community life. As a follower of Jesus, and through years of service as an associate pastor,
worship leader, and small group leader, faith and service continue to inform the purpose behind
the work. His current focus is on developing cohesive bodies of paintings that inspire viewers to
reflect, grow, and step more fully into their own potential. Looking ahead, the artist is committed
to a lifelong pursuit of mastery—creating work that speaks honestly to the human condition and
encourages others to become the best version of themselves.
