The Bitsie Clark Fund was founded in honor of Bitsie, an Executive Director of the Arts Council of Greater New Haven for 20 years. She helped launch the Audubon Arts District and gave endless advice and support to artists and arts organizations. Our Fund has continued Bitsie's devotion to artists since 2018 by awarding annual grants to artists in the Greater New Haven area. Again in 2024, we are awarding two $5,000 grants to individual artists; one is designated for Black artists; one is open to all.
