Amanda Gray

Hello, If you don't know me already my name is Amanda Gray. I bought a laser as a hobby in 2018. Then, we were in the last years of homeschooling our two girls. I made all kinds of gifts and things for us, but I really loved making earrings. In late 2019 I made some earrings for our homeschool groups sports team and people started commissioning me to make other things for them. In 2022 our last daughter graduated and I took a leap of faith and decided to start doing what I love full time. I began working in a small 6x6 room in our house. Our oldest daughter got married in 2023 and moved out so I took her old room to work in. One day I hope to be able to build a small building in our backyard to move our little shop into, but for now I'm pleased not being in such confined quarters. None of this would be possible without my right hand lady, my youngest daughter, Hailey. Hailey not only works with me full time but she inspires, motivates, and encourages me to step out of my comfort zone and be the best I can be. My husband, Joe, is my biggest supporter of my dreams and my biggest fan! I can be shy and sometimes feel like I'm not enough and he's always there to lift me up and put me in a better headspace. Up until recently when he got into an accident at work, he worked 70+ hours would still help wherever he's needed. Since he's been home we've been doing more canning, so we're beginning to offer that as well. Even though I am not a salesperson and never will be, I love doing shows because even if people don't buy anything from me it makes them smile looking at the earrings on display. That makes my day! I have also met some of the best people ever at shows! My customers are the best! Even though I don't know most of y'alls name, some of y'all stick with me. I find myself thinking about something you said, a reaction you had, or just your personality on some random day while I'm working or just living my life. If it wasn't so creepy I would tell you who you are. If I remember you, you're probably one of them. ***Just know that even if you don't feel like you matter to anyone, there's probably some weirdo out there like me who thinks your totally special and doesn't know a thing about you!*** I care about every pair of earrings and know that their quality is a reflection of me. I take that very seriously! We take our time on each earring and I'm not afraid to throw one out if there's a flaw. Even if I spent a lot of time on it. I want you to love your earrings as much as I love making them!
