Artist Statement
This ongoing series of ceramic monsters is a playful exploration of the intersection between functionality and whimsy. Each mug is meticulously handbuilt, ensuring that no two are exactly alike. By infusing everyday objects with fantastical elements. I am to transform mundane coffee breaks or hobbies into moments of delight and imagination. Each monster is imbued with a unique personality and name, reflecting their various roles - whether as a coffee mug, planter, or a candle holder. By transforming these everyday objects, I aim to make everyday rituals a bit more magical.
