Artist Statement
I am Sue Colton of SJCstudios. My art mediums are mainly oil, pastel and fiber art. Utilizing these different mediums allows each one of them to become more vibrant and active. I feel that as I use the many different textures in fiber art, I am able to be more creative with textures and color stories in my paintings. My love of nature and the beauty of the world around me are inspirations for my paintings and fiber artworks.
