About

I moved to Los Angeles in the early 1990s to pursue a career as a special effects artist. For more than twenty years I worked in the entertainment industry as an effects artist, prop builder and toy designer. In 2019 I moved back to Houston and while no longer work in the entertainment field, i still enjoy creating art horrors. I primally show my work at conventions around the Texas area.

Artist Statement

Nightmares from the Bayou creates unique one of a kind, handmade art pieces with a Gothic Western Tiki horror theme. Necklaces, bolos, statues, voodoo & character dolls, paintings, prints and more can all be found hanging under the Tiki Hut of Horrors.
