Artist Statement
I continously draw inspiration from the past. Whether it be my past, the past of others, or art work where the artist is long gone and they may not be remembered. Vintage stained glass panels collecting dust in an antique store spark excitement in me. Peeling paint on the nose of a bomber from WW2 takes me back in time to when art was an expressive escape in such dire times. I find my inspiration in the small, aged, and overlooked aspects of nature and my surroundings.
