About

In 2008, I began working with stained glass lighting, loving the organic look of the pieces. Venturing with new ideas, my interests turned into the industrial steampunk lighting genre. My inspiration came from other farmhouse and industrial lighting. The mechanical look of the pieces sparked my creativity and interest. The thought process of making a unique piece invigorates me. I usually see one item, either a salvaged iron base or an interesting gauge that is used as a centerpiece. The rest of the work extends from that. Reworking a piece many times to perfect the balanced, in-scale is a creative process. A new passion is finding the unique light bulb to use in the piece which sets the ambiance for the finished design. I love the satisfaction of seeing people’s reactions to my work. It truly makes my heart smile.
