At the same time, I unexpectedly lost my corporate banking job — a role that had become my entire identity. Instead of rushing back, I felt a gentle nudge to pause and reset. During that season, I began researching traditional fat-rendering methods and crafting small batches for friends and family. What started as curiosity turned into something more when I sold out at a church bake sale — with no intention of starting a business. Then came a brand-new farmers market in my hometown, and again, we sold out. That’s when I knew this path was blessed. One step led to another. I began formulating specialized products based on women’s needs and gaps in the market.
