Artist Statement
I paint to find beauty in darkness. Deep moody skies, stubborn Texas longhorns, and glowing bluebonnets fighting the night — each stroke hunts for light hidden in shadow. After decades of pencil lines I finally let acrylic and shimmering gold foil loose. My work is raw, luminous, and unapologetically Texan. Simple truths told with a bold brush and sparkle. That’s it. That’s me.
