About

Jay Gardner is a native of Dallas where he has been creating functional pottery for the home over the last twenty-five years. His work has been exhibited at the Yellowstone Art Museum in Billings, Montana, the Worchester Center for Crafts in Worchester, MA, the Marblehead Art Association in Marblemead, MA and the Bath House Cultural Center in Dallas, Texas. Also an accomplished musician, Jay has perform at the Crested Butte Music Festival, the O'Neal Theater Center in New London, CT, the Dallas Symphony and the Dallas Opera.

Artist Statement

Jay Gardner has been producing functional pottery for the past twenty-five years. His style has evolved to incorporate clean, classic forms combined with hand-carved surfaces and satin matte glazes. Jay's goal is to craft pottery meant to be used and enjoyed on a daily basis.
