About

My Indian name Niyati is Sanskrit for destiny. I grew up across three countries and cultures spending my childhood and young adulthood in Dubai and India and then across 5 different states in the US for the past two decades. I grew up as part Catholic, part Hindu and part Sikh. I then practiced Buddhism for 15 years. My quest, for understanding God and the universe has led me to become deeply spiritual. I love and see the common thread between all religions and consider myself a cosmic translator to help others to connect to the universe. In particular, I believe it is my soul’s chosen destiny to connect humans to Gaia (mother/earth spirit). My venture ‘Gaia Connect Jewelry’ is handmade with love from gorgeous natural crystals and gemstones. Combining fashion and magic, these beautiful and affordable one of a kind creations come in various collections including 1. Magical Creatures (spirit animal-guide based jewelry. Dragons, wolves, bats, jaguars) 2. Constellation Collection (astrology based jewelry with unique star constellation charms) 3. Gaia’s neurons (tree of life, leaves and mushroom based jewelry to honor our planet’s neurons) I also make custom pieces upon request to help one intentionally attract what they want to into their life. My jewelry tends to be feminine, multicultural and fashion forward although I also make unisex jewelry. Find me on Instagram @GaiaConnectJewelry. 🙏🏽✨ Blessings! Niyati

Artist Statement

Artist statement I create jewelry as wearable ritual—where my Indian heritage and Sanskrit roots meet the living energy of Gaia, the Earth as spirit. My name, Niyati, means “destiny,” and my work is grounded in the belief that what we wear can carry intention, story, and energy. Through Gaia Connect Jewelry, I handcraft delicate, gemstone-based pieces that blend ancient symbolism, astrology, and nature—spirit animals, constellations, and organic forms reimagined in a modern, feminine way. Growing up between cultures, I often felt like an outsider—so my work is rooted in creating connection. Each piece is designed to help people feel seen, included, and a little more magical, whether they are drawn to it for beauty, meaning, or both.
