Adopted from Syktyvkar, Russia, Caroline embraces her Russian name, Ksenia, as her artistic persona. Her love for nature and adventure was nurtured through countless outdoor explorations, where immersion in the natural world continues to fuel her creative inspiration. She is deeply captivated by the ways in which light and color shape human experience, and by the intricate beauty found in natural texture and tone. In 2019, Caroline graduated Cum Laude from the University of North Texas with a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts and Professional Photography. After graduation, she moved to Grand County, Colorado, where the ever-changing mountain light and vast landscapes profoundly influence her work. Drawing from her photography background, Caroline translates her observations of light, shadow, and color into abstract interpretations of nature. Her paintings seek to capture the fleeting moments of illumination that define the landscape transforming visual experience into emotional expression.
