Artist Statement
I am an artisan soap maker and herbal formulator based in North Texas, creating small-batch skincare through my brand, Enid b. My work is rooted in my Jamaican heritage, community gardening, and a deep respect for plant-based traditions.
Using botanical ingredients, locally sourced materials, and herbs grown by hand, I craft soaps and body care products that transform everyday rituals into moments of grounding and care. For me, soap is more than just cleansing; it is a blend of memory, agriculture, chemistry, and art.
As an educator, I teach hands-on workshops that demystify the making process and reconnect people to what they put on their skin. Through both product and practice, my work invites others to slow down, engage their senses, and experience skincare as a meaningful ritual.
