Hi friends, I’ve always believed that creativity is something I was born carrying. I grew up in Dallas, Texas — a dreamer, a decorator, a creative at heart. From an early age, I was drawn to beauty, color, and transforming ordinary spaces into something meaningful. Even before I knew what my career would be, I knew I was called to create. Life’s journey led me to Mississippi, where I stepped into a very different calling — law enforcement. Becoming a police officer shaped me in ways I never imagined. It strengthened my discipline, deepened my compassion, and taught me how to serve with integrity. It was there that I met my husband — also a police officer — my partner in service and in life. Together, we built a beautiful blended family of five incredible children. Our home was full, busy, and blessed. We poured our hearts into raising them, building stability, faith, and love into everything we did. When our youngest graduated high school and we officially became empty nesters, I felt a quiet nudge in my spirit. It was time. Time to return to the creative gift God had placed inside me all along. What began as a step of faith has grown into a full art career rooted in purpose. Today, I create original artwork and custom commissions for homes and businesses — pieces that bring peace, beauty, and elevated design into the spaces where life happens. My work blends my love for abstract florals, layered texture, thoughtful color palettes, and refined design. Every canvas is built with intention — often handcrafted by my husband — and created to feel personal, timeless, and deeply meaningful. Charmain Valentine Rule Charmain Valentine Rule is a self-taught abstract artist recognized for bold, textural compositions that merge expressive movement with refined design. After a career in law enforcement, Rule transitioned into a full-time art practice, bringing with her a disciplined approach and a deep understanding of resilience and transformation. Working primarily in abstract and abstract floral forms, Rule creates large-scale statement pieces designed to anchor and elevate interiors.
