About

I’m a self taught disabled award winning artist and illustrator and now an inspirational artist who has defeated death many times. My story is about hardships and miracles through art and faith. I was born with a rare genetic disorder called Maranoid Habitus and Elhers Danlos Syndrome diagnosed in 2015. I’m truly a walking miracle. I have 26 screws and two rod’s holding my spine. I also have a learning disability. I began my art journey in 2015 at the age of 40 after experiencing a profound spiritual awakening.    I began drawing realistic drawings from photo creating a photorealistic style.  I was inspired to become an artist by child prodigy Akiane Kramarik who started painting at the age of four. She painted what has become one of the most recognized image of Jesus at the age of eight “The Prince of Peace”. Her story and the image of Jesus truly woke up the artist in me. I began discovering my true potential and made peace with God.    I enjoy depicting everything that I find beautiful such as people, children, pets, wildlife, landscapes, nature, still lives and botanicals. I want to shed light with my miraculous story and art in this dark world.   I enjoy many different mediums such as pastels, graphite charcoal gouache watercolors acrylics and oils. My medium of choice has been pastels since 2019. Since I started my art journey in 2015 I’ve created over 150 works of art. For the past couple of years I’ve been getting back into painting and teaching myself acrylics I’ve been creating realistic art in acrylics.                               I began exhibiting my art work in local  galleries and online in 2017. My work has been accepted in over 450 exhibits local and online international exhibits and I have received over 300 awards. My art work has been featured in 17 magazines. My inspirational story has been featured in many online publications since 2018.   I feel God has kept me alive for so many reasons but the main reason is so I can share my miraculous story with the world to inspire others and give them a renewed sense of hope.

Artist Statement

I am incredibly grateful and blessed to be alive and doing so well regardless of my condition. I am truly fortunate to have migrated with my family to the US.  I am very hopeful for the future, and I hope to be able to continue to share my miraculous inspirational story and my art with the world.    I am hoping through my story and art I can inspire others to never lose hope and to pick up a pencil and brush and start creating.
