Artist Statement
My work lives somewhere between the everyday and the iconic—painting everything from radishes to Porsches with the same sense of energy and reverence. I’m drawn to objects that hold stories, whether they’re humble, nostalgic, or deeply personal, and I use bold color and punchy composition to bring them to life.
I work intuitively, often layering acrylic, gouache, spray paint, oil pastels—anything I can get my hands on. Each material adds its own voice, creating texture, movement, and a sense of immediacy. I’m less interested in perfection and more interested in feeling—capturing a spark, a memory, or a moment of connection.
Painting, for me, is both an act of play and a form of healing. It’s where I process, remember, and reconnect. My hope is that my work invites others to do the same—to find meaning in the ordinary, joy in color, and a little piece of themselves reflected back
